Rain of Colour
This exhibition consisted of over 34 pieces. The main inspiration is the artists response to nature through an abstract style.
The colours are placed in geometric shapes and with wild strong and powerful pure colour, sometimes used straight from tube onto canvas. The texture is very thick to make the work more fresh and rich. This portrays the artists emotional interpretation of nature. When it rains, he always sees rain as colourful, as seen through the trees, forest, sea and mountains. To Ali Raza, rain is refreshing and brings things to life again, and he wanted to bring that to life on canvas in an aesthetic way through harmony and balance.
